Jackie Chan is Still Alive

Have you guys heard about the issue which stated that Jackie Chan was die in Los Angeles, America because of heart attack? Well, we don't have to worry about that because that issue is just hoax, that's not true. Maybe in social network like twitter talk about that hot issue, and become a trending topic there. But once again, the issue is not true!

The truth is Jackie Chan now still alive and he's in Korea this time, i read an article which said that Jackie Chan's assistance got some messages from that famous action actor. If the issue is true, do you think Jackie's spirit could send a message??? I don't think so... I'm not surprise with this issue because there were so many issues about an actor's or actress' death before, for example one of American Idol singers but i can't remember his name, (hehew...) but it was hoax, a stupid hoax i think. How dare someone said about the death of an actress or actor who still alive???

The rumor about Jackie's death was spread after a fake site which is made same as Yahoo! 7News checked about it. The site stated that Jackie Chan died in a hospital in Los Angeles, America because of heart attack. The site also written the condolences from The United States of America, Barrack Obama and Jackie's best friend, Will Smith. It's stupid hoax 'aight?!!

Now the actor from Hong Kong still healthy, even he is teaching a young Bollywood actor, Darsheel Safary to prepare his action in his new movie, the title is Zokkomon So it goes without saying that the issue is just a hoax and NOT TRUE, okay? Well, now let's just wait and see his next movie... ^O^v.

Mirror Having Fun

Last Sunday (27th March 20011) Mirrorians members (but unfortunately just not all members could join this phenomenal event, ehm maybe too much... i mean this not-really-bad event, hehehe...). Well firstly i'd like to let you know a little about what Mirrorians are. In my beloved e_department, there are several activities for the students, and one of them called Mirror. It is a place for hyper-active, expressive, and crazy students who can act become anything without any obstacles and of course, without any embarrassment when they are perform, well this definition is purely comes from me and myself, so you can doubted about it, LOL. Actually the full name of this group is Mirror English Speaking Theater, from its name you guys can conclude the real meaning of Mirror ^^v.

these are the Mirrorians 2011, but i didn't join when this pic was taken :'(

Now, i'd like to tell you about the chronology of Mirrorians journey to the west with Tong San Chong (Sun Go Kong's teacher, gyaaahahahahaaa...) just kidding, i mean our journey to spend our time on that bloody Monday :D. We started by gathering in e_department's park in front of B3 building (only in Semarang State University you can find this place, ha.ha.ha.) then we went to our first destination, it was Moron Beach oops! i mean Maron beach, at first i thought i could meet Adam Levine and friends (Maroon 5 vocalist, kyaahahahaha...). Back to topic, honestly i felt uncomfortable when visited that beach, why? Ok just see what we had to face on our journey to reach it...

yuck! look at the road!!! >.<

After the crazy journey, finally we arrived at Maron Beach... hmmm, what could i say??? My impression about that beach when i saw it for the first time was "Are you kidding me?!!!" that didn't like what i had in my mind, a beautiful beach with white sand and a good view... All that i saw couldn't amaze me... Oooooh so saaaad...
But it's ok, we still enjoyed the beach, we thought we could do that as long as we together ^^, to proof it let's see these pictures :)

this was the first thing i could do in that beach...

this when Mirror's leader changed from the old generation to the young generation

finally i sacrificed my jeans and joined with others... but it was fun!
twin sister :D
hopefully this togetherness will never ends... :)
and this was the last thing i could do in that beach...

After we satisfied with the unclear beach and its waves (^O^) we had lunch, and i got a very spicy food, it was yummy :D hopefully i could eat that kind of food again next time... amin!
The last destination was Masjid Agung Semarang, it is big mosque in Semarang and i think it is the most beautiful mosque in this city, do you agree with me? Let's check this one out...

this is the mosque ^^

these very big umbrella will open every Friday when "Sholat Jumat" is held to cover Moslems from the heat of sun or from the rain.
cheers!!!

this is Trio Hwek Hwek

hahahahaha.....

It was rain when we enjoyed the beauty of the mosque, then guess what? there were so many kids who slipped around the mosque, my friends and i watched them and we couldn't stop laughing...hwaaa i knew it was impolite but honestly they looked so funny when they slipped ^O^.

Well, even though the destinations were not too cool but we still had fun there, and why we still felt it? Because togetherness was the main point in this event... together is very beautiful guys ^^.

Picture Me Broken, an Awesome Band

Who are the post-hardcore, screamo or metalcore lovers? Raise your hands up!!! ^O^
In my former post, i promised to post about an awesome band, and now i'll write about them, so let's check this one out...
I'd like to introduce a group band with those genre, well maybe some of you have already known about them, but it doesn't matter let's know them better...

The band's name is Picture Me Broken, comes from Redwood City, California. There are five persons in this band, they are:

Layla Brooklyn Allman, she is the lead vocal and synth. I really adore her, she is very cool as a hard-core band's vocalist. I always want to be like her who can scream amazingly ^O^

This is Dante Phoenix lead guitarist in Picture Me Broken
he is a cool man, 'aight?

Well i think i don't have to mention who he is... we can read in this picture :D

He is Jimmy Strimple for rhythm guitar, he's a new guy in this band, but actually his skill is undoubted :)

The last member is Connor Lung, the drummer...

Actually Picture Me Broken had changed the members, and here are the former member who had already left this band...

Nick Loiacono - Lead Guitar
Will Escher - Rhythm Guitar
Eric Perkins – Drums

Originally starting out as a classic rock cover band in the seventh grade at North Star Academy (where they played in talent shows) under the name Lane Four, they have gone on to win a radio contest and to play the San Francisco stops of the Warped Tour, Project Revolution Tour and PacSun Tour. They have shared the stage with bands such as Saosin, Alesana, Atreyu, Scary kids Scaring Kids, Black Veil Brides, and Hawthorne Heights.
Their debut full-length album Wide Awake was made available on July 6, 2010 via Megaforce Records. You can hear one of their songs, Dearest (I'm so Sorry) and watch the video, just one click here then enjoy it ^.^v

The original lineup included Layla Brooklyn Allman, Nick Loiacono, Austin Dunn, and Eric Perkins. Perkins was replaced with Connor Lung so he could focus on his schoolwork. Will Escher was added as rhythm guitar player for the band, but soon left to attend college. Loiacono left the band to attend college and pursue a career in music production; he was replaced by Dante Phoenix. Jimmy Strimpel later replaced Will Escher as a rhythm guitarist.

The band is currently writing/recording music for the follow up to Wide Awake sometime in 2011, debuting their new guitar players Dante Phoenix and Jimmy Strimpel.

And these are the singles from Picture Me Broken album, Wide Awake...

    1. Dearest (I’m So Sorry)
    2. Echoes of an Empire
    3. Skin and Bones

    Let's Goooo!!!!

Well guys... this time i wanna post a lyric from Picture Me Broken, maybe some of you don't know yet about them, so i promise to post about Picture Me Broken itself as soon as possible ^^
But now, let's try to know one of their songs, the title is Dearest (I'm so Sorry)... The reason why i choose this song is: this is the best song from them i think, beside that my band played this song and i was the vocalist, LOL ^0^v
    Here we go...!

    Dearest (I'm so Sorry)
    by: Picture Me Broken

    a little less innocence
his morals aren't so well defined
you're here again, the rush begins
a line of joy and suicide

i can't find the words to say this
    i'm running out patience

    [chorus]
dearest i'm so sorry you're disturbed
you know i'd hang on every word
with each breath you take i think i've learned
    careful you might get burned

tears tug at the corners of my eyes
but i won't let them go this time
you're here again, the rush begins
a line of joy and suicide

i can't find the words to say this
    i'm running out of patience

    [chorus]
dearest i'm so sorry you're disturbed
you know i'd hang on every word
with each breath you take i think i've learned
    careful you might get burned

    let's go...!!

    dearest i'm sorry
    but this is not working

holding onto what i fight for
    bleeding for you
a face to die for 2x

And here's the video, enjoy it... ^O^

waaow! what a good song 'aight? ;D
i'll write about the band then... hopefully it can help you, especially for post-hardcore lovers...

    Cultural Exchange 2011

Firstly, I thought that today would be so exhausting for me… I felt I wanted to skip this day, but I WAS WRONG! Today was an amazing day! Well maybe it wasn’t start with a good thing, like I came late to this morning class, and unfortunately the lecturer wasn’t come. However, I had to present my material about Korean Culture (because it was Cross Cultural Understanding class) with my group. Grrrh… I wasn’t ready for that, but show must go on… But the main point is not what happened to me and what made me so upset this morning. Ok, now let’s check it out…

There was an awesome event in my campus, my beloved e_department, called “Cultural Exchange” and there were five native speakers from four different countries. There were Melanie from France, Ryan from Canada, Yuko and Misako from Japan and Lin from Taiwan.

    (these were the native speakers...)

It was great when I had to perform with the native from French (and because of that I had a reason to make a conversation with her, that was nice! ;) ).

But the matter was: I prepared for this performance for about two days, I was soooo worry too, but in fact I just performed not more than fifteen minutes, and it was fine… one thing that I can get is “sometimes, my crazy imagination bring me into a suck situation that can make me feel so depressed and frustrated, but the fact is not like what I have in my mind…” so just like Justin Bieber’s song, "Never Say Never" before we try to do something, because sometimes we can get some advantages from what we are gonna do… Stop!!!! Back to the topic! >.<

    (waiting for someone :D)

    (kyaahahahahaaa....)

After my maybe-good performance, I joined discussion with the native from Canada, there were a lot of things I could learn from him about Canada. One thing that I kept in mind, (well I can’t remember what exactly he said because he spoke too fast and I couldn’t catch all his words, hahay…) but the point is like this, we have to do whatever we wanna do when we are still young, because we don’t have any burdens when we are young, so just do what you like, enjoy your life… waaaaw!!! What he said make me want to go abroad and backpacker like he did (wooooeyy?! Whose money…???? And is it possible for a “little” woman like me to do that??? I could lost so easily I think…hmmmm =.=’) When the time for discussion was up, my friends and I took some pictures as you can see here ^^v

    (this is Melanie from French...)

    (this is Ryan the Canadian)

    (cheeeeers...!)

Getting to know people are very exiting you know!!!! d^o^b

The next was rappelling… from twenty meters tower near my campus, woaaaaa it was very high (for me ^c^). And know what? I tried it, well for the first time I absolutely refused it because I have acro-phobia (fear of the height)… I can’t stand the high place. But I did it! When I stood up in the top of the tower it was rain! (>O<) and my mind said “What the h*ll am I doing here??!!!” again and again… I was twenty meters above the ground, and I had to go down just with a rope!! Was I crazy?! Well, I thought I lost my mind that time… but once more, I DID IT!!!

     (before tried rappelling...)

Unfortunately, in my first trying there was a little accident because my head scarf “nyangkut” on the rope (What a shame!!!!) and I needed someone to help me, waaaw i made difficulties for the members of EGP (peace!!!) ;D

(almost reached the top of the tower >.<)

Hahahaa…. Finally everything was fine, and I could defeat my own fear (^o^v) I wanna try it again next time… thank you guys :)

    (1...2...3...aaaauuuoououooo!!!)

In short, today was AWESOME!!!! d^.^b

    Magnumize Your Life!!!

Have you ever heard the rumor about ice cream "magnum"? as we know, magnum is a famous brand of delicious ice cream... but a few days ago there was an issue which said that magnum contains LARD or called "lemak babi" by Indonesian. It's dangerous enough for us as Indonesian people especially for Moslems, beside that, in fact lard has very high cholesterol which can cause heart disease if we consume it too much.

But WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY about the rumor because that's NOT TRUE, Wall's as the company that produce this ice cream explain that they didn't use lard in magnum composition, and magnum also has a certificate from MUI and it is revised once in two years. This product also has license from BPOM Indonesia since 1993, that's why we can find magnum in every place in our country even we often run out of it... :D

So, once again, we don't have to worry if we wanna consume magnum as much as we like,,,it doesn't matter as long as we can buy it.. LOL ^O^

After we have this clear information, there's no worries, no reason to stay away from this "yummy" thing and we can still magnumize our life!!!

    Hanamizuki, a Japanese Movie

Hanamizuki (May your love bloom a hundred year) is a Japanese movie by Nobuhiro Doi which written by Noriko Yoshida, and it’s a love story. As the third year high school student, Sae Hirasawa (Yui Aragaki) is trying so hard for her college entrance exams. Her father, Kemimichi Hirasawa (Arata) passed away when she just a child, so she lives with her mother, Ryoko Hirasawa (Hiroko Yakushimaru) in Hokkaido, Japan. When she was very young, her father planted a dogwood tree in front of their house after he found out he had a terminal disease, his life would over soon, and couldn’t watch Sae grow up.

One day, Kohei Kiuchi (Ikuta Toma) who attends a specialized high school teaching fishery, meet Sae in a train and he likes her for the first time he saw her, then they start to know each other and get closer. After graduation Sae go to Tokyo University while Kohei follows his father’s footsteps as a fisherman, so they have a lond distance relationship. Even though their love is strong, it doesn’t last. In Tokyo, Sae meet Junichi Kitami (Osamu Mukai) he is a photographer, they become a good friend then.

After Kohei’s father passed away, they decide to end their relationship Kohei start to make a relationship with Ritsuko Watanabe(Misako Renbutsu). Sae finished her college and get a job in New York, America in the same office with Junichi.

Sae back to Japan to attend Minami’s wedding party, Sae’s best friend from high school. She meets again with Kohei, actually they still love each other and that’s the reason why Kohei’s fiancĂ© left him. When back in New York, Sae and Junichi plan to get married but unfortunately Junichi passed away before it happens.

Sae moves to Canada, and there she knows that Kohei’s ship is in Canada too. She is trying to find him but Kohei’s ship has alredy left the harbor, she couldn’t meet him…
Sae decided to go back to Hokkaido, her mother had already remarried and Minami has two children, everything’s changing, but not her feeling towards Kohei. This time, ten years after they met for the first time and have love between them, these two young meet again… and then a miracle happens…

Well, I think Hanamisuki is a recommended movie for Japanese movie lovers, Toma and Gakky act amazingly in this movie. They are a good couple, a handsome man and a beautiful girl 
This movie was taken in Hokkaido Japan, Canada, and New York early 2010. Yui Aragaki played as a teenager all the way up to twenty-eight year career woman, this is the first time that Yui portrays an adult character. She also performed some of her lines in English and therefore she was studying English to prepare for her lines.

And these are the actors and actress who played in Hanamizuki movie:

yep.. my brother, Ikuta Toma ^0^ as Kohei the main male character in this movie... i think he played so perfectly :)

and this is my sister :D as Sae the main female character in this movie...

Osamu Mukai as Junichi Kitami, the one who planned to get married with Sae but he passed away before it...

this is Sae's mother, Ryoko... a single parent after her husband passed away...

ritsuko watanabe played by Misako Renbutsu, Kohei's fiance after he broke up with Sae...

Kemimichi Hiraawa, he's Sae's father who passed away when Sae was a child...

and this is a gift which was made by Kohei for Sae, this ship as reminder for them when they had a long distance relationship...

this is a recommended movie for Japanese movie lovers ^^

it's nothing to lose if you download this movie here...
