Waterfall… Waterfall

It’s been a long time since the last trip (The Golden Sunrise mission). What can I say? The daily routine never allows me to set a new travelling plan, poor me. But there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel ha! Finally I met my partners in crime, and voila! A plan to go somewhere new was set.

Since I have a job that must be done almost every day, we just made a “one day trip” agenda. We had the list of places that can be visited, and Waterfall was the chosen one. The destination was not too far from where we stay, we decided to “hunt” the waterfalls in Ungaran (the capital city of Semarang, Central Java). From the internet, we knew that this city has several good waterfalls to be visited. Lawe, Semirang, Tujuh Bidadari (means seven angels, honestly man… I don’t know what the origin of that name was) are three of many waterfalls in Ungaran.

Curug Lawe

In the morning we had already prepared the requirements: drinking water, snacks, bread, rainy coat (it was rainy season in my place), and of course, money (we always need that thing, right? LOL). Unfortunately, I can’t remember the route to reach the spot (poor me), I just remember it took about one-two hours to reach the first destination; it was Curug Tujuh Bidadari (Curug means waterfall) and it was crowded, suck. But it wasn’t a big deal when we could enjoy the. There was a unique bridge made from bamboo, some waterfalls in different spots view, overall it was not too bad. In fact, maybe because of its beauty this place was used by some “freak” models to take picture hahaa (it was inside joke, there were several aged women who wore some catchy stuff, and the wrost part is, they don’t match at all. They were looked strange.) FYI, the waterfall in this place was not too high (see ’em on da pics yo!).

Before afternoon, we continued to the next destination: Curug Lawe. It was cloudy, but we were lucky. It wasn’t rain. The way to reach the second waterfall was not good I think… and we had to walk several kilometers to get there. But the best part of this place was: it wasn’t crowded.

Take a look at the water ^^

There were only a boy and a girl (they might be in relationship) who were fooling around there. It was looked more natural than the previous one, I loved it. The water was so clear, I could see the bottom of the river, and it was so cold. It was a nice place surrounded by trees (just like a little forest), peaceful and cool. I recommend this place for you to visit. Unfortunately, we couldn’t hunt the next waterfall, because the night was about to come. We back to our place and hopefully next time we could continue this waterfall mission.
