Beautiful Beaches in Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta

Kabupaten (it's an area headed by a leader called bupati) Gunung Kidul is a  regency in Yogyakarta province, Indonesia. The capital city is Wonosari. This regency borders with Central Java province on northern and eastern part, Hindia ocean on the south, also Bantul regency and Sleman regency on the west. Gunung Kidul regency consists of 18 sub-districts, which divided into several villages. The central government in Wonosari sub-district. There are hills and limestone mountains, on the Sewu Mountain's part. Some part of Gunung Kidul are barren area, and almost in every dry season a disaster like drought happens. Well, maybe Gunung Kidul well known as a barren area, but actually Gunung Kidul has potentially tourisms which are recommended to be visited, especially beaches.

Maybe some of you have already known about Yogyakarta,  and you also already known about Parangtritis and Depok Beach. Those two beaches have their own attractions, especially Parangtritis, it has a legendary story which has connection with Nyi Roro Kidul. But have you ever heard about tourism in Gunung Kidul area? This regency has potentially tourism, there are some beaches with a beautiful landscape, and the beauty is different among those beaches, you won't get bored if you visit these places.

There are Sundak Beach, Krakal Beach, Kukup Beach, and Baron Beach (in this beach you can bargain so many kind of fishes to get them). Those beaches have managed well, but there are so many beaches which never visited by the tourists. Krakal Beach for instance, has a wide shore with the white sand and the wave is not too high, absolutely you can feel comfortable when you enjoy the natural view and forget your daily activities.

From Yogyakarta, it takes time about 2 or 2,5 hours to reach those beaches area. But you don't need to worry, because you can enjoy a natural landscape (limestone hill on the dry season and green hill on the rainy season) make sure you go there not on the holidays, because it will too crowded.

Krakal Beach

Drini Beach

Baron Beach

Ngobaran Beach

Ngrenehan Beach

Wediombo Beach

Sundak Beach

Here are the transportations and the lanes to get to the beaches:

You can use a bus te get there, for you who come from Yogyakarta, you can go to Giwangan bus station (Yogyakarta) then use a bus with Wonosari direction, after you arrive in Wonosari bus station you can find a bus to Tanjung Sari, Tepus and their surroundings because those beaches lie in those sub-districts. You can also use a train from Tugu train station, then you go to Giwangan station, and you can continue by bus.

2. Airlines
You can also use a plane to go to Adi Sucipto airport, from the airport you can use Jogja busway to go to Giwangan bus station, and then you can continue just like what you have to do when you use the landlane.

Visit These Beaches, and You Won't Regret It

Bali (Indonesia) is a tourist resort which is recognized by whole the world, it has beautiful nature and so many special cultures. The beach in Bali is one of ten best beaches in the world, if you wanna know about the most beautiful beaches in Bali, let's check this one out ^^

Padang Bai

Padang Bai Beach lies in crossing harbor between Bali and Lombok, Padang Bai. This beach is clean enough and of course, it is so beautiful. Fishermen and divers really like this beach because even though lies near a port, the under water life were kept so well. However, if you wanna dive in this beach you have to be careful, because sometime the wave is too high.

Legian and Seminyak Beach

The beach which lies on the north of Kuta Beach has same atmosphere with Kuta Beach, but the differences between Legian and Seminyak Beach and Kuta Beach are the cleanliness and the crowd (Legian and Seninyak Beach is less crowded than Kuta Beach). This beach has a different-unique sunset every day, and this is the best place to take some sunset pictures.

Dreamland Beach

Tourists from other countries  really love this beach, you can see the white sand along the beach and there are some beautiful corals too. Dreamland is beautiful and exotic white-sand beach in Bali. The only bad thing about this beach is the way to reach it, it is a little bit hard to get there because you have to follow steep path and you have to be careful in rainy season.

Sanur Beach

Sanur is one of the tourist resorts which grew in Bali for the very first time, we can feel the rural and calm atmosphere more than other beaches in Bali. Sanur was renovated and it became an extremely beautiful beach. There are many activities and resorts around Sanur Beach which make this beach becomes one of recommended beaches in Bali.

Amed Beach and Tulamben Beach

Amed Beach and Tulamben Beach lie contiguously, they almost have similar characters. But Amed Beach is still "virgin" and visited by just a few domestic tourists. The divers love Tulamben Beach very much, there is a US warship which was sunk not too deep under the surface. These are two of exotic beaches in Bali.

Lovina Beach

This famous beach lies on the northern Bali island, the character of the sand in this beach is a little bit different with other beaches, it has black sand. In Lovina Beach we can see a group of dolphins every morning, to see them we can rent a boat (we can rent it in the hotel or from the owner directly). Don't forget to bring your camera, because sometime the dolphins will appear beside your boat.

Candi Dasa Beach

On the east part of Bali island and two journeys from Denpasar you will find a well-known tourist resort, Candi Dasa and its beautiful beach. There many activities that you can do in this beach, two of them are snorkeling and diving.

Well, you have to prepare yourself and visit Bali, Indonesia soon. Then you will see "a little piece of paradise" there ^^

A Snake Grew in Her Stomach!!!

A Pakistani woman unintentionally "kept" a snake in her stomach for about seven months, but she was thought that she was pregnant.

This unbelieveable phenomenon happened to Rasheedan Bibi, a 50 yeas-old woman who lives in a small town, Chora Saggar in Pakistan.

Reported by The Nation, the snake was swallowed by Bibi when she drank water in her house. After two months, she felt her stomach getting bigger, but she thought that she was pregnant. Seven months later, her body swelled and she felt so sick. Bibi was brought to the hospital and people shocked when the USG test found a big snake in her stomach.

Rasheedan Bibi consumed 14 breads every day. Her family is poor and they asked the head of Punjab cabinet minister (a place between Pakistan and India) to help Bibi financially.
