Ok, this time I wanna share about my yesterday-experience: visit Goa Kreo (goa means cave, but it looks like niche actually). No need to explain further about this place, cause pictures speak more than words.

my camera was off when I arrived here and it took too long to turn it on, fyuhh...

The visitors will be accompanied by them all the time
during the short trip in this place
These cute monkeys will eat whatever you give to them :D
Luckily, they are pretty nice and will not grab anything from you unless you throw it to them
I guess they were sharing about the prettiest girl in this place

I don't have any idea about what statue this is, there's no explanation about it.

Umbul Sidomukti Part 2 (Birthday Edition)

 I wanna share about my second experience in Umbul Sidomukti - Semarang. I've shared my first experience there in my last article. Well, I visited this place for the second time on my birthday last month, actually at first my hubby and I had a plan to celebrate it together, and the plan was go camping in a great place called Telaga Dringo in Wonosobo - Central Java (someday I have to go camping there, I mean it!) unfortunately the weather was not good (in Indonesia we have rainy season at this time) camping in a rainy day sounded like a bad idea. Then we changed the plan, we DID NOT GO ANYWHERE.

 Was I disappointed? Well, a lil' bit, but it didn't matter. Since my hubby made it up by asking me to go to Sidomukti. I thought it was better than stuck in the house full of boredom, LOL. Finally we asked two of his friends to join us: the two crazy men. We reached that place by motorcycle, it only took about one hour. Lucky us, it wasn't rain, yay!!

 We didn't visit the place as I visited at the first time, we went directly to the Pondok Kopi (aka Coffe Shop). It is higher than the place I visited long time ago. Since it was Sunday there were too many people in the Coffee Shop, so we decided to took a walk and just enjoyed whatever we could enjoy (does it sound so desperate?). We found a cave (if I'm not mistaken the name is Goa Tirtamulya), the entrance is only IDR. 5.000/ person. Then we had a short-scary-but-absurd adventure inside the cave. (One of the two men scared me with some scary voices, I was fooled by that voice, crap!)

 At the end of the cave we found a good spot to enjoy the view there. It was amazing, but d*amn... it was crowded.

The best spot! There is always light at the end of the tunnel, LOL.


 After the caving activity we continued to fool around, when we decided to drink coffee in the Coffee Shop we didn't get a space there and the coffee plan was cancelled. As a good woman (LOL) I brought some snacks so we could sit on the grass, enjoyed the nice scenery and ate some snacks (what a double kill!), and of course took so many picts (even the men did it enthusiastically!).

 Rain + hot chicken noodle + beloved people = perfect!

 The cloud warned us to go home earlier, so we back home and got a bowl of hot chicken noodle on our way home. I knew it was out of the plan, but I was happy since I had a nice time to be shared with my hubby and friends on my birthday.

 I don't give a shit about my new older age, all I know is: doing something crazy doesn't need a young age, it's just a bunch of great friends and a drop of endless young soul.

Umbul Sidomukti part 1 (Triple Date Edition)

This time I’d like to write about my experience in one place in Semarang called Umbul Sidomukti. Actually I visited this place long time ago… but it’s OK, since I have promised myself to write and share about my little adventure (I don’t know whether it can be called as adventure or not *blushing).
Lying on the grass felt so good

This place is in Ungaran – Semarang, at the foot of Ungaran Mountain (yap, this place is high enough to get a nice view). It can be reached by motorcycle, car or if you dare you can walk, LOL. The entrance cost was very cheap, with not more than IDR. 15.000,- I could get a great experience there.

There is a spring water swimming pool (unfortunately, I haven’t tried to swim there), and some facilities that can make your day more colorful! I tried flying fox and crossing the marine bridge (if you visit this place you have to try this one and feel the sensation!) and those activities can get your adrenaline up. And the best part, they were so cheap (more or less I paid IDR. 20.000,-).
The best part: flying fox can be done by two persons, at once. yay!

It was hard to cross this bridge, trust me.

For hiking lovers, they can hike here and there is a camping ground to spend the time with friends, or for them who don’t like camping they can rent a villa (actually there are only 5 villas, so it is not available all the time).


Well, honestly this time I don’t have more idea to be written here, since I visited this place long time ago. I went there with my friends (two couples and me with my boyfriend. FYI, if the readers wanna know about the background of the title, LOL. But sadly the love relationship of those two couples are no longer exist. *Thanks for the memories, guys...)

Brown Canyon of Semarang

It can't be denied that I, no no no… WE. We do really need some times to get rid of our boredom, to escape from the flatness of our daily routine, or to refresh our mind from the burden we have in this harsh reality (well fine, this is hyperbolic), but that is the truth guys. Work, tasks, assignments, job from the boss and even whatever we do every day in the same way can bring us to the total exhaustion. We want to escape, run away, get lost… From what I get this far, every time I visit a new place to refresh my-almost-rotten-mind, I get something new to be learned. It can be about the people I meet, about the nature, new perspective about life and many more.

But what can we do if we do not have much time to go somewhere far. Hmmm, far… I used to think that to go somewhere far was good. But hey, I get it wrong. Sometime I just don’t realize there is something “more” around me, no need to go somewhere far from where I live. Well, FYI now I spend almost every day in Semarang, the Capital city of Central Java. The longer I live here the more I get from this place.

This place is called Brown Canyon. Anyway, this name is similar to tourist resort in America: Grand Canyon. I don’t know who gives the name, or who got there for the first time. I visit this place, I see the “canyon”, it is near from my living place, not far and I like it.

Some say this place was a hill, and the trucks change it (u know what i mean)

That is the Brown Canyon from Semarang. It is a nice place I think. Good enough to hunt some pictures. One thing you have to remember if you want to go there: the mask. There are so many trucks passing through this place (they load the rocks, soil and so on to be used as building materials and maybe to be sold), it goes without saying that the place is too dusty. Unfortunately, the access to get there is not good, the road is totally ruined (maybe it is caused by the trucks) motorcycle and car can pass it though. In short, I give three stars for this place.
