Point Blank, Counter Strike, Left for
Dead, and Virtual Cop. Have you ever known about these games? These are my
favorite games by the way. Ah, that’s not the point, this time I don’t wanna
share about the details of these games. However, it still has connection with
these games. People who know these games will know what the connection is
quickly, that’s right man… it is all about battle, war, fight, shoot with the
gun and defeat the enemy (mostly using a weapon like hand gun, shot gun,
riffle, bla bla bla *sorry I have limited knowledge about them, so you can
googling it by yourself, LOL). FYI, I do really in love with stuff like that
since long time ago.
Remember, these are UNIT not weapon |
It happened when a friend of mine
(he’s my senior in my college) asked me to join Skirmish, wait… what?? Kismis?
(means raisin) didn’t have any idea about he said that time. Later, I knew that
skirmish means airsoft war game. So, what is airsoft itself? Have you ever
heard what so-called airsoft gun? You don’t know about it? Me neither, HA!
Well, maybe next time I will review about it in detail after I get sufficient
knowledge and well-informed about it (and if I want to, LOL). OK, back to the
topic. When I generally knew that he asked me to join an extremely cool game, I
could say nothing but "YES". Last Sunday I finally joined Skirmish. It was…
toooooooooo awesome to be described in words. And here’s my story…
As I said before that I had it last
Sunday. The plan said that we would start at 10 am, but it was raining, that
was the uncoolest part of the day…fyuhh! Fortunately, God knew that I really
wanted to feel Skirmish and the rain stopped so we could go to a place called
Tinjomoyo. It was a zoo long time ago and it looks like a natural forest, a
great place to have a war game. When I arrived at a…. I called it base camp,
OK, when I got there, suddenly I felt so worry and a little bit scared. There
was a group of men with army look style, they were completed with all the
equipments (you can also call them tactical gears). My daddy was an army, I used to see
him with his uniform and once his weapon and he didn’t make me scare at all,
but they were different. Maybe because it was my very first time I felt that I had
no ability and information at all about how to use the weapon, (wait! It is
forbidden to call it weapon, because in air soft gun we call it unit) how did
the battle field look like and even we didn’t wear the gears as completed as
them. FYI, it was just my feeling and honestly, I picture it too much and
dramatically, LOL. It’s OK to join them, no need to worry *winking.
Before the game began we prepared all
the requirements in a place which used to be the office center of the zoo. I
got safety vest (I don’t know what its name), goggles to protect the eyes, a
unit (I got a shot gun, great!), and the amo (we call it BB). Then I practiced
how to shoot, the target was soda can, in 10 shots I hit it 3-4 times, what
the…#@$^@$$%$*&*
We started the game, a man who called
himself marshal (as what I heard) gave the instruction/ scenario of the game
and divided the group into two. Just liked a real battle, my group had a
captain who would lead us and set the strategy to accomplish the mission. I
liked the atmosphere, the tension and how we moved in the battle field. I
didn’t care when I saw my dirty clothes after crawling along the forest tried
to stay alive and completed the mission, when too many mosquitoes bit me or
when I had to follow the captain in the rain, all of them were awesome! Finally
I was hit, (if the opposite team shoots you, you have to say "HIT" and stay where
you are. Say "MEDIC" to call the medical to help you, in PB it is called Respawn)
and there was no medic who could help me, poor me. And the game ended after the
marshal told us that the time was up. Then I knew that we didn’t win the game,
haha crystal clearly they had three newbies. We still had two more games after
that, all of them were totally terrific.
Those men were the members of the club |
It was a tiring day, my clothes were
dirty, I was hungry (I could eat a horse!), and soooo thirsty. But they were
nothing compared to the experience I got, new good-nice friends and more about
airsoft gun. Surely, I’ll join them again next time, yeay!!!
New experience, new friends (y) |
