I really wanna go there

“Not all of the people in this world have been there.
Only them, who have been there, (from different angle) can witness the greatness of nature.
The greatness of one of God’s masterpieces…”

Yupz, I talk about mountain, a place which has so many mysteries. Long time ago, in my freshmen year I told my Mom that I wanna join an organization so I can climb a mountain. Then she said, “NO”. She thought it was so dangerous for me and I wouldn’t make it. And… prank! My heart broke. As a good daughter (uhuk), I just keep my desire deep inside my heart and never talk about it again in front of my Mom. I do love adventure, when I was an elementary school student, I often visited some unknown places with my friends and started our adventure. We got lost, we tried to find the way back home, but we enjoyed it very much. Ahh… those were great experiences. It hurt when I can feel my adventure-soul slowly fade.
This is my senior year, well yeah… it might be my last year in college (ehem, Amin…). I spent my time for about three months in a city (it was a million flowers city) to do my PPL (be a teacher trainee in a high school to improve my teaching ability). I met new friends, so many friends… even more than I expected, and I like them. Two of them are adventurers, and they had climbed so many mountains in Java Island. First, I just gave the “Ooh…”, “Eh, Really?” or “Ih wow!” responses. But later on, those two climbed Merapi Mt and shared their experience to me, they also showed me the photographs and… “WOOPS!!” Something entered my mind wildly, I WANNA GO THERE TOO!!!! HAAAARGH, THIS PLACE IS JUST SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL, TAKE ME THERE!!!! Yes, I was goin’ crazy.
I don’t know exactly, but one thing for sure, those two people had woke my adventure-soul up from its hibernation. How dare you guys?! No offense, I asked their responsibility, ha! They promise me that they wanna count me in if they wanna climb a mountain again, nice! That’s what I mean dude!
The first thing, I have to ask my parents’ permission. For me it is something essential before I do my plan (especially climbing a mountain). Slowly, I told my Mom first. I was so afraid she would say another “NO” to me just like long time ago, but hey! She allowed me, YAY! And she told me something unbelievable, she said she was on the top of Merapi Mt when she was young. What the…?? Absolutely, I have a cool Mom! Honestly, I didn’t know what made her change her mind this time, ehmm… like the hell I care! Then she asked me to ask my Dad. I did it, and you know what? I got my new carrier, and the best part is: it’s blue… yippie!!! And yesterday, my Dad gave me “legacy”, one of his army uniforms (my Dad was an army) and asked me to fix them (of course, if don’t do that it’ll look like a ‘lil snail in a turtle’s shell haha). Then he said, “This is strong enough to complete your adventure.” Whoooa, I have one hundred percent of my parents’ permission in my pocket. (Hug and kiss for them, mmmwah!)
What I do next is set the plan with my friends. On 15th December 2012, I will go to Sindoro Mt as my first climbing. Bless us God. I can feel my spirit is fully charged now… I really wanna go there, to the top of a mountain to be a witness of the greatness of nature, the greatness of God’s masterpiece. Yes, I’m ready!
